Meet the Seniors!

What did each senior bring to the team this season?

This year, the St. John Fisher Women's Soccer team has had to part with eight. Each and every Senior has contributed greatly to the team's success the last four years. The Senior class did not only contribute to the scoreboard, but to the team chemistry as well.
"The Seniors formed a family and it really showed, this season especially," stated Sophomore Kaylee Gebhardt. "They will be greatly missed."

Jess brought great wisdom to the team in more than one aspect. "She was an excellent keeper but an even better friend, she's always willing to help," Gebhardt adds.

Syd is known to all for her sense of humor and amazing saves out of nowhere. "Syd came up with huge saves this season, and saved our butts," adds Junior Val Hanson.

Amanda, one of the several twins the team has come to love received First Team All-League honors despite multiple injuries! "Amanda is extremely consistent on defense," Sophomore Aimee Caluwe adds.

Caley, despite her funny and happy personality can get incredibly focused and was another savior to the defense this season. Junior Taylor Reynolds describes, "she is an incredibly smart player who always knows where to be."

Caitlin, also know as Trip, is great at getting the teamed pumped up during her pre-game speeches. She is also "the most composed players I have ever seen," states Junior Captain Katie Burgstrom.

Heather, another twin on the team, is one of the happiest, most bubbly person in the world. "She even smiles when she runs! She really contributed to our attack this year, she could dribble around everybody," beams Junior Laura Burgstrom.

Kaytlyn, known to the team as KP, has a great sense of humor. "She has such fast, little feet and great foot skills," adds Junior Alex Rohloff.

Finally, last but certainly not least, Vicki, has such as goofy personality. "She is in great shape and can run past anyone on the sideline to cross the ball," states Junior Chelsea Oberkrieser.

Put together, these eight add up to quite the group. Through all the laughs, tears, wins and losses, these eight will forever be in the heart of the underclassmen.
